• East Coast Road (ECR), known for its scenic beauty, is an important road corridor in Tamil Nadu connecting Chennai to Cuddalore via Pondicherry.
• The Tamil Nadu Road Development Corporation(TNRDC) implemented the rehabilitation and maintenance of the 113.2 km East Coast Road (ECR) between the cities of Chennai and Pondicherry at a cost of Rs 551.671 mn.
